  1. I…excuse me….WE have not been to Legoland yet but cannot wait to go! We recently went to Disney World and had a really good time. Fortunately, we were there in early February and never waited longer than 10 minutes for any ride. We also have a Sea World just south of Austin in San Antonio and have enjoyed our visits there as well. Come to think of it, I don’t think we’ve ever met a park we haven’t enjoyed. LOL.

  2. Legoland sounds like SO much fun! I have ride-sensitive kids too – not just dark and scary, but wildness of motion. We like bumper cars and the merry-go-round and that’s about it 🙂 I like the sound of all the activities at Legoland.

  3. I haven’t taken my children to any of the above. What ages do you recommend for theme parks like these? My children are ages 6, 4, and 1. At this time in their life, I think they’d like a trip to the local park about as well as Disneyland. However, we’d love to do a bigger family getaway one of these years.

    1. Hannah, if your little one is a great stroller napper — or if you have a way to get back to the hotel for a nap — your older two are at a good age for LEGOLand. I might wait another year for Disney, but that’s just me. It also depends upon their personalities. But you could do a trip to San Diego and do LEGOLand, SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo, etc.
