About Bridgette Evans -LCSW, MSW

"My counseling style focuses on strengths and empowerment. I help clients identify what skills and experiences they already have that can help them to face their current challenges."

Bridgette (she/her) uses a strength-based approach in her work to empower individuals, families, couples, and teens. She has a history of involvement with the LGBTQIA+ community and strives to create a safe space.

Her practice focuses on personalized care and convenient telehealth services. She keeps an intentionally small case-load so she can offer more personalized attention, weekly availability, and convenient times such as weekend and evening. She provides therapy online and via telephone through her private practice, Flexible Counseling Solutions, and through BetterHelp.

Bridgette was inspired to become a social worker by the need for compassionate mental health providers in the veteran community. She has spent the majority of her life as a military dependent, both as a spouse and as a child. She has lived in many states and spent 10 years living in Europe.

  1. enjoy your time off! i need to free myself of blogging and Facebook for sure. Also want to be able to more fully enjoy my weekends. cool you made cherry jam. we picked 12lbs of strawberries several weeks ago, and made strawberry jam. unfortunately half my jam turned out a little runny still haven’t gotten around to fixing it. happy summer!

  2. I will also be taking a blog cation. Not sure at this point for how long. “Annie’s Special Day” is coming out slowly. Still the delays keep happenin’ lol.

Enjoy your time with the boys. They are only young once.

  3. Your boys are going to be glad about your blogcation! I hope you have a terrific summer. I won’t take a blogcation, but I might as well. I’m doing rewrites and can’t blog much while doing them. Have a wondrous time. Will miss you and Perfect Picture Book Friday though. xoxo

  4. Oh yes, Kirsten…what a great idea! Much less screen time and much more kid time sounds like the best plan to me. 🙂
Thanks for sharing the photos of the cherry picking…reminds me of our blueberry picking many years ago.

  5. Have a good one! I think I will be too, though am currently waiting for summer and sunshine to get here…ah, Vancouver, sometimes it’s hard to love it here…

  6. Kirsten, I love your summer plans and I can’t believe you also participate in home canning! I love it! I think hot pepper jelly is still my favorite. But, I digress. YOU WON MY DEB LUND GIVEAWAY. So, when you can, email me at:: tracybermeo [at] verizon [dot] net and I’ll get your signed book to you via Deb.

  7. HI Ms. Larson! I know you are on a blog – cation but my sister picked your name to win the copy of Night Buddies I was giving away on my blog! HA HA I see that you won something on Ms. Bermeo’s site too!! Please email me at erik (at) thiskidreviewsbooks (dot) com so I can send you the book 🙂

  8. You’re doing the right thing, Kirsten—no guilt! Not only are you spending time with your curious beautiful boys, you’re also showing them how to set priorities. Oh, and don’t forget to add in some mom time, too! ; )
