With my first few books on their way, I’m preparing to dip my toe into the school visit pond. I’ve put together a video that captures some of my inspirations. What do you think?

I love it! The music really heightens the excitement.
It was fun to play with. iMovie certainly makes things easy!
I think it’s terrific! 🙂 Very exciting and dramatic!
Thanks Susanna! I’m hoping to do a few school visits this year. If you have any pointers, let me know. I know you are an expert. 🙂
Excellent job! Did u take a movie class? I just took one for updating my teaching license (Movie Maker). This will be a great introduction to your “speech.”
You are too funny, Tina. It’s all drag and drop with iMovie. I use the “trailer” template. Even the music was included.
I’ll have to try iMovie; I have it on my iPad. My daughter was playing w/it the other day. Maybe it’s easier than Movie Maker. 🙂
Wow, very impressive! The kids will love the music and the flash! Thanks for sharing, and good luck with your school visits.
Thanks Sara. I’m hoping to line up a few visits this year. It should be fun.
I really am impressed. Great job. Wish you a lot of luck with your school visits.
That is a wonderful movie! I love the music and the opening! :)I use Microsoft Movie Maker, and it has great features, but I always have to refresh my memory on what does what. Maybe I’ll try iMovie on my Mom’s iPad? 🙂
iMovie is totally drag and drop, Erik, and a ton of fun. I think you should try it on the iPad. I think you could make some fantastic trailers.
